Since becoming a teaching Pro in 1999 Scott McMurray has worked with golfers of all skill levels. Applying a simple approach and keen ey McMUrray can help an individual start improving quickly whileworking on long term goals.
After a long tenure under the tutilage of PGA life member and tour Pro Norm Collins in Kalamazoo Michigan, Scott was accepted as a PGA apprentice in 2005. McMurray is quietly working toward his PGA membership.
Tips from Scott
- To keep from changing you’re grip pressure and position, try to hold or “hover” the club slightly off the ground at address.
- To combat against leaving short chips and bunker shots short, make sure to always accelerate through the ball.
- Try to feel the proper weight shift by making sure te left shoulder is behind the ball at the top of the backswing.
